Since 2014 we have offered a variety of workshops to help you make positive changes to your health and well-being. Our interactive workshops are designed to engage, educate, and motivate you to incorporate wellness into your life. Some of our previous workshops included: batch cooking, meal prep, skills & techniques, and guest chefs in our SIH kitchen. We have gathered around the SIH farm table to listen to some of our guest speakers talk about seasonal farming and eating, the benefits of acupuncture, learning the history of homeopathic medicine, gut health, Ayurveda, balancing work with a healthy lifestyle, and debunked nutrition myths, just to name a few. In our SIH yoga studio we have practiced many different types of yoga, meditated, learned the MELT method, and Salsa danced. Outside on the SIH lawn, we had journaling, meditation & yoga workshops, ran the Vischer Ferry Preserve trails, engaged in a nutrition Q & A, and led a snowshoe yoga hike and bonfire brunch.
